I love what I do.
I trained at Epsom School of Art and Design (Now UCA) achieving both National Diploma and Degree standards in graphic design.
I now have 17 years experience in the design industry, having gained a huge amount of knowledge and skill to tackle the most demanding of projects.
My first job, a junior designer for a colour proofing bureau, I quickly learnt how artwork files should be set up so they actually printed correctly, it's amazing how many "Graphic Designers" lack this important skill.
I then worked at a Litho printers, again this was more about learning another aspect of the design process rather than a career change. First hand experience of print has been invaluable over the years and saved my bacon many times!
I then experienced life at a number of design agencies, working my way up to senior designer and meeting some very colourful and influential characters on the way.
Putting into practice what I'd learnt over the years, April 2004 saw the birth of Chalk Creative.
